This review is going to be a short one, but that has no reflection on the quality of the product. Actually there really is not much to say about this wonderful gift from above, other than I am impressed. Seriously though how much can you really write about a pair of socks? I’ll give it a try and see how I do.

The Ultimate Boot Sock, by Blank Farms, is now my go-to sock for cold weather wear. Period. I love the fact that they are produced from locally sourced Alpaca Wool. Local stuff is all the rage right now, and hey it does make some sense to work with what you have within easy reach.

In addition, they are soft, thick, and provide a good amount of cushion and support for your feet. They have stretch, which helps keep them up, yet despite the stretch, still manage to feel heavy duty. The Alpaca wool literally Hoovers moisture away from your feet. I was going to say wicks, but wicks is to mellow of a word. Which is good because even at cold temps these socks keep your feet so warm they are likely to sweat.

They come in a variety of sizes up to Sasquatch feet, for big dudes and ladies, and are basically knee high(and then some) in all sizes. The extra length helps keep your legs warm, and at times I have donned these socks sans-thermal bottoms because of the added warmth from their height. You can wear them for a day, and somehow they end up not smelling at the end of it all. They are machine wash and stand up to it all. I now have 3 pair, and will likely be purchasing several more pairs to keep in reserve.

I would highly recommend a pair of Alpaca Wool Socks, in particular if you can get your hands on a pair of these. They are awesome and deserve some serious recognition.
